Można z nią pracować tak samo, dlatego, że układa się kolorowe szkło na siebie, a ponieważ szkło jest materiałem bardzo wdzięcznym i plastycznym, przypadek bardziej pomaga niż przeszkadza. Właściwie nawet nie znając technik szklarskich, które są bardzo trudne , można na siebie układać małe kawałki szkła, posypać frytami, a następnie stopić.

„Fusing“ bedeutet Freude, Psychotherapie, und vielleicht auch Freude für andere, denn es ist eine Methode, die der Collage sehr ähnlich ist, weil Sie buntes Glas übereinander legen und weil doch Glas ein sehr barmherziges und bildnerisches Material ist, so hilft eher der Zufall als das er schadet, und das ohne Kenntnis von Glastechniken, die eigentlich sehr kompliziert sind, Sie können also Glasstückchen aufeinander legen, dann mit „Fritte“ bestreuen und anschließend zusammenbacken (sintern). Das Glas beginnt zu fließen, bildet Blasen und wenn man es beleuchtet, gerät das Ganze in Bewegung, so dass sich das Glas in der Sonne verändert und zu leben beginnt, was seine weitere wunderschöne Eigenschaft ist.

Fusing přináší radost, psychoterapii a pak možná i radost ostatním, protože to je metoda, která je podobná tvorbě koláží. Může se s ní pracovat dost podobně, protože dáváte barevná skla přes sebe a protože sklo je velice milosrdný a výtvarný materiál, tak náhoda spíše pomáhá, než že by ubírala. Vlastně aniž byste znali sklářské techniky, které jsou strašně těžké, tak přes sebe můžete dávat sklíčka, posypat frity a pak to zapečete. To sklo pak teče, dělá bubliny, a když do toho posvítíte, tak mu dáte pohyb, takže to sklo se se sluncem proměňuje a ožívá, což je další jeho krásná vlastnost.
