Bada, Konstituzioko Testuaren oinarri horiek abiapuntu hartuta, batzuk okertuta eta anbiguoak, eta orain krisi sezesionistan agerian geratzen direnak, bi alderdi nazional nagusiak, kontserbadorea eta sozialista, itun konstituzional handirik lortu gabe, txandaka gobernatu dute behin eta berriz lortutako babesari esker, bereziki alderdi nazionalisten babesari esker.

And on the foundations of the somewhat twisted and ambiguous texts of the Constitution, and which has now become evident in the secessionist crisis, the two largest parties, the conservative and the socialist, in the absence of a great constitutional agreement, have taken turns to govern, on many occasions thanks to the support of the so-called nationalist parties. This support garnered either out of necessity or parliamentary convenience, has had a marked effect on the political situation, with the regional governments being rewarded for their loyalty through articles 148, 149 and 150.2 of the Constitution. As a consequence, often by giving to some and conceding to others, over and above the Constitution, has led to the progressive loss of Spanish sovereignty, as the legal representative of all the people of Spain, the awareness of a Spanish nation and of the concept of true equality among Spaniards.

E con estes vimbios, algúns tortos e ambiguos do Texto Constitucional e que agora se manifestan na crise secesionista, os dos grandes partidos nacionais, o conservador e o socialista, a falta dun gran pacto constitucional, gobernaron alternativamente co apoio repetido en especial dos denominados partidos nacionalistas. Estes apoios acadados por necesidade ou conveniencia parlamentaria, tiveron un alcance transcendente ao seren recompensados, a través das respectivas autonomías e amparados nos Arts. 148, 149 e 150.2 da Constitución. O resultado, moitas veces por darlles uns e admitirlles outros, un alcance maior alén do puramente constitucional, supuxo unha progresiva perda da soberanía do Estado, como representación xurídica de todo o pobo español, da conciencia de nación española e da verdadeira igualdade entre os españois.
