Yarı- Ermeni olan sınıf arkadaşı ile Kristin arkadaşlarına Ermeni tarihini öğretmek için tanıtmalar düzenliyordu. İlk defa sosyoloji okumak için Brown Üniversitesine gittiği zaman sıkça Rhode Island, Providens Ermeni kilisesine gidiyordu.

Along with another half-Armenian classmate, Christine used to do presentations to educate her friends about Armenian history. When she first went to Brown University to study sociology, she used to frequent the Armenian Church in Providence, Rhode Island, and she co-founded an Armenian Students' Association on campus. However, not knowing much of the language nor many customs, it wasn't easy for her to interact with the local Armenian community.

Avec un autre camarade de classe demi -arménien, Christine faisait souvent des présentations pour apprendre l’histoire arménienne à ses amis. Quand elle est venue pour la première fois à l’Université Brown pour étudier la sociologie, elle a souvent visité l’église arménienne de Providence, Rhode Island, et elle a créé une Association des étudiants arméniens dans le campus. Pour autant, ne maîtrisant ni la langue et ni les coutumes, ce n’était pas facile pour elle à se communiquer avec la communauté arménienne locale.

Junto con otro compañero de clase medio-armenio, Christine solía hacer presentaciones para educar a sus amigos acerca de la historia armenia. Cuando por primera vez fue a la Universidad de Brown para estudiar sociología, ella solía frecuentar la iglesia armenia en Providence, Rhode Island, y ella es co-fundador de la Asociación de Estudiantes armenios en el campus. Sin embargo, sin conocer bien el idioma y sin conocer mucho sobre las costumbres, no era fácil para ella adaptarse con la comunidad armenia local.

Оставшись в одиночестве со своим одноклассником, наполовину армянином, Кристин часто готовила показы для ознакомления своих друзей с армянской историей. Когда она впервые приехала в университет Брауна (Brown University) для изучения социологии, она часто посещала армянскую церковь в Провиденс (Род-Айленд). Кристин стала одной из основателей ассоциации армянских студентов возле университета. Тем не менее, было непросто, не зная многое о языке и обычаях, вовлечься в дела армянской общины.
