At UUM, you will find the food paradise Malaysia is synonymous with, in the variety of stalls, cafes and restaurants on campus. This, in essence, reflects the true spirit of harmonious communal living in the larger society. For more stylish dining, the Seri Beringin Restaurant at the EDC-UUM Hotel serves a variety of local, western and authentic Asian cuisines for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It also serves daily sumptuous buffets and a wide range of ala carte local dishes. Another café, also owned by EDC-UUM, called the Academia Lounge, is located on campus in the building that houses the College of Business (COB). It began operations in January 2012 and the sale of food and drinks at Academia Lounge is available only to staff and university guests. Academia Lounge has a seating capacity of 120 pax and operates daily from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm except on Fridays and public holidays.
