Water is undoubtedly an essential element not only for life; it is an integral part of the earth and weather patterns and is intrinsically linked with our critical national interest.Due to uncertain characteristics and trends, climate change will affect current water management practices and the operation of existing water-related infrastructures, which are very likely to be inadequate to overcome the negative impacts of climate change.Therefore enhancement and modification of current engineering practices have to be incorporated with consideration of climate change effects in order to achieve the objectives of designated adaptation programs effectively and thus develop sustainable management strategies and frameworks.
