Results: The mothers participating in the study were mean age 27.35±5.17; 52.3% of them were primary school graduates and 88.2% of them were housewives. It was found that 75.4% of the families were nuclear family, the average number of children was 1.60±0.71 and 51.8% of them have a child. 36.9% of infants were 0-3 months. It was detected that 86.2% of infants faced with pain and the most frequently encountered pain status was abdominal 77.4%, the vaccine pain 6% and ear pain 6%. It was detected that 75.7% of infants experiencing with the vaccine pain were given analgesic drugs;77.6% of them experiencing with abdominal pain were applied mostly massage application on their abdominal;71.9% of them experiencing with ear pain were applied mostly analgesic drugs.
