April 2015 - The highest top station in the Alps is getting a new modern ropeway. The 3S gondola lift from LEITNER ropeways will be the world’s highest, and the ride to the Matterhorn glacier paradise (Klein Matterhorn) at an altitude of nearly 4,000 meters will be significantly faster and more comfortable. For the first time, the new upscale gondolas styled by Pininfarina, designer of famous brands such as Ferrari and Maserati, will be employed, using modern shapes as well as seats inspired by the automotive sector as well as large-scale panoramic windows. After a three-year construction time, the new ropeway will significantly improve the connection between the Swiss and Italian sides while ensuring year-round operation at the Matterhorn. The winter sports paradise surrounding the Matterhorn, with 360 kilometers of ski slopes, is considered one of the best developed and largest ski resorts in the world. The Matterhorn glacier paradise top station occupies an important strategic position precisely due to the connection of the slopes on the northern side above Zermatt with the downhill runs on the Italian side at Breuil-Cervinia.

Avril 2015 - La station de montagne la plus haute des Alpes se dote d'un nouveau téléphérique moderne. La ligne 3S de LEITNER ropeways deviendra l'exemplaire le plus élevé au monde et rendra nettement plus rapide et confortable le voyage jusqu'au glacier du Cervin (Petit Cervin), à près de 4 000 mètres d'altitude. C'est à cette occasion que les nouvelles cabines haut de gamme conçues par Pininfarina, le concepteur de marques renommées telles que Ferrari et Maserati, avec des formes modernes, des sièges inspirés de la construction automobile et des fenêtres panoramiques, feront leur première apparition. Après trois années de construction, la nouvelle ligne améliorera de manière significative la liaison entre le côté suisse et le côté italien et assurera une exploitation tout au long de l'année sur le Cervin. Avec ses 360 kilomètres de pistes, le paradis des sports d'hiver entourant le Cervin compte parmi les domaines skiables les plus étendus et les plus grands au monde. C'est justement grâce à la jonction des pistes du côté nord au-dessus du Zermatt avec celles du côté sud, en Italie, près de Breuil-Cervinia, que la station en amont du glacier du Cervin occupe une position stratégique importante.

April 2015 - Die höchste Bergstation in den Alpen erhält eine neue moderne Seilbahn. Die 3S Bahn von LEITNER ropeways wird die höchstgelegene 3S Bahn weltweit sein und die Fahrt zum Matterhorn glacier paradise (Klein Matterhorn) auf knapp 4.000 Meter Höhe deutlich rascher und komfortabler machen. Erstmals kommen dabei die neuen, hochklassigen Kabinen zum Einsatz, die Pininfarina, Designer namhafter Marken wie Ferrari und Maserati, mit modernen Formen sowie vom Automobilbau inspirierten Sitzen und großflächigen Panoramafenstern entworfen hat. Nach dreijähriger Bauzeit wird die neue Bahn die Verbindung zwischen der Schweizer und der italienischen Seite signifikant verbessern und einen Ganzjahresbetrieb am Matterhorn sicherstellen. Das Wintersportparadies rund um das Matterhorn zählt mit 360 Pistenkilometern zu den bestausgebauten und größten Skiarenen der Welt. Gerade wegen der Verbindung der Pisten auf der Nordseite oberhalb von Zermatt mit den Abfahrten auf der italienischen Südseite bei Breuil-Cervinia hat die Bergstation Matterhorn glacier paradise eine wichtige strategische Bedeutung.

Abril de 2015: La estación de montaña más alta de los Alpes dispondrá de un nuevo y moderno teleférico. El teleférico 3S de LEITNER ropeways será el teleférico 3S más alto del mundo y el primero en hacer que su viaje hasta el Matterhorn Glacier Paradise (Pequeño Cervino), con casi 4.000 metros de altitud, sea más rápido y cómodo. Por primera vez se podrán usar las nuevas cabinas de clase superior diseñadas por Pininfarina, el diseñador de conocidas marcas como son Ferrari y Maserati, con asientos inspirados en formas modernas y los de los automóviles y con grandes ventanales. Después de tres años de construcción, el nuevo teleférico mejorará significativamente la conexión entre el lado suizo y el lado italiano y tendrá garantizado el funcionamiento durante todo el año en el Matterhorn. El paraíso de los deportes de invierno cerca del Matterhorn cuenta con 360 quilómetros de pistas y con uno de los centros de esquí más grande y más desarrollado del mundo. Precisamente gracias a la conexión de las pistas del lado norte por encima de Zermatt con los descensos en el lado sur italiano en Breuil-Cervinia, la estación de montaña Matterhorn Glacier Paradise tiene una gran importancia estratégica.

Aprile 2015 - La stazione di monte più alta delle Alpi si arricchisce di un nuovo, moderno impianto: la cabinovia di LEITNER ropeways sarà l'impianto 3S più alto del mondo e condurrà i passeggeri molto più velocemente e comodamente sul Matterhorn Glacier Paradise (Piccolo Cervino), a quasi 4000 metri di quota. Per questo impianto saranno utilizzate per la prima volta le nuove, lussuose cabine progettate da Pininfarina, leggendario designer di Ferrari e Maserati, che per questo progetto ha voluto forme moderne e grandi vetrate panoramiche e che si è fatto ispirare dal mondo dell’automobile per le forme dei sedili. La nuova cabinovia, che sarà completata in tre anni, migliorerà sensibilmente il collegamento tra il versante svizzero e quello italiano e garantirà per tutto l'anno l'esercizio sul Cervino. La zona attorno al Cervino, con i suoi 360 chilometri di piste, può considerarsi un vero e proprio paradiso per gli sport invernali, nonché uno dei più grandi e meglio organizzati comprensori del mondo. La stazione di monte del Matterhorn Glacier Paradise riveste una grande importanza strategica per il collegamento tra le piste che si trovano sul lato nord, sopra Zermatt, e le piste che si trovano sul versante italiano, nei pressi di Breuil-Cervinia.

После трех лет строительства, новая канатная дорога значительно улучшить связь между Швейцарией и итальянской стороны и обеспечить круглогодичную работу в Matterhorn. Райское место для горнолыжного курорта с 360 км трасс, это все делает Matterhorn развитым и крупнейшим горнолыжным курортом в мире. Именно из-за связи склонов на северной стороне выше Zermatt с спусков на итальянском на юг Breuil-Cervinia, горной станции Matterhorn имеет стратегическое значение.
