The Lambda Cold Dark Matter (LCDM) cosmological model, has been remarkably successful at explaining the observed large-scale structure of the universe which has been measured using various probes (e.g. CMB, BAO, weak lensing, etc.). The distribution of dark matter on sub-galactic scales, however, is not well-understood and its consistency with LCDM predictions is unclear. In this talk I will explain the methods that we have recently developed to map the small-scale distribution of dark matter halos using strong gravitational lensing. I will give a summary of our ongoing observational campaign to use ALMA and the large sample of newly discovered strong gravitational lenses to measure the abundance of galactic subhalos and the power spectrum of density fluctuations on sub-galactic scales to provide invaluable information about the nature of dark matter.
