Hugo works as a writer and translator in the field of marketing for the French market of Québec. He has a Ph.D. in the cultural aspects of international marketing from Université de Montréal and has wrote many articles about the challenges of adapting promotional communications. Over the years, he worked for major brands such as Honda, Acura, Expedia, KFC, Budweiser, HP, H&M, Telefilm Canada and Ziploc. He also translated short stories, plays, video games and the novel The Chimera Sanction by Canadian author André Baby.
