Xatırladaq ki, F. Qayıbov 2013-cü ildə UEG-yə vitse-prezident seçilmiş və son 4 il ərzində həmin vəzifəni icra etmişdir. Növbəti 4 il ərzində isə o, fəaliyyətinə 8 gimnastika növü daxil olan bu quruma rəhbərlik edəcək və avtomatik olaraq Beynəlxalq Gimnastika Federasiyasının İcra Komitəsinin üzvü olacaqdır.

As it is seen from the show title, an entertaining performance based on a script of a film shot in the United States 27 years ago, awaited the spectators but in a completely different style. There were neither professional actors nor a big film crew on the Field of Play dressed with decorations reminding the movie. The main point of interest was that all the characters of the show consisted of the members of the National Teams in 7 gymnastics disciplines. But there is still something remarkable to mention. This time, along with gymnasts and coaches, there were special guests at the show - children with the limited possibilities. And the New Year performance started namely with their performances. It was a debut of representatives of first gymnastics section newly opened for the children with limited intellectual and physical possibilities in front of the audience. Thus, our little friends, staring around with excitement, executed their performances and made their contribution to the festival.

Ən yaxşıların qatıldığı mübarizədə fərqlənmək hər nə qədər çətin olsa da, Svetlana və Veronikadan ibarət qadın cütlüyümüz sinxron proqramda ilkə imza ataraq, finala qədər yüksəlməyi bacarıblar.

It is the fourth time that our gymnasts are testing their strength at the World Championships in this discipline which has started to be developed in our country since 2013. No matter how difficult it was to distinguish themselves in the contest among the best competitors, our Synchro Women Pair consisting of Sviatlana and Veronika succeeded to reach the final in Synchronized routine for the first time. Our girls ranked 7th in the final. Sviatlana also reached the semi-finals of the individual program among 60 countries and contented herself with the 17th place.

Гимнасты, побороли свои силы на Чемпионате мира по этому виду гимнастики, развитие которого началось в Азербайджане с конца 2013г., уже в 4-й раз выступают. Несмотря на то, что было трудно отличиться на соревновании среди самих лучших, наша женская пара Свиатлана и Вероника впервые смогли попасть в финал в синхронной программе. Наши девушки заняли 7-е место на решающем этапе. Свиатлана, также смогла выйти в полуфинал среди участниц из 60 стран в индивидуальной программе и заняла 17-е место.

“UEG-yə 8 gimnastika növü daxildir. Bu növlərin hər biri üzrə Avropa Çempionatları, festivallar, eləcə də qurumun öz iclaslarını idarə etmək artıq mənim öhdəliyimə düşür. Böyük iş həcmini nəzərə alsaq, qarşımda duran bu strategiyanı yerinə yetirə bilməyim üçün, özümü tamamilə Avropaya həsr etməliyəm. Bundan əlavə, Beynəlxalq Gimnastika Federasiyasının iclaslarında da tez-tez iştirak edəcəyəm. Göründüyü kimi, bu günə qədər federasiyada icra etdiyim yetəri qədər məsuliyyətli olan Baş katib vəzifəsini davam etdirməyim vaxt baxımından da mümkün deyil”, deyə F. Qayıbov bildirib.

“UEG comprises 8 gymnastic disciplines. It is already my obligation to direct the European Championships and festivals in each of these disciplines as well as internal meetings of the organization. Taking into account large amount of work, I need to fully dedicate myself to Europe in order to follow this strategy. Moreover, I will frequently attend the FIG (International Federation of Gymnastics) meetings. As you can see, I will no further be able to proceed with the very important post of the Secretary General taken up by me at the Federation so far from the point of view of time as well”, F. Gayibov said.

“В деятельность UEG входит 8 видов гимнастики. Управление Чемпионатами Европы в каждом из этих видов, а также различными фестивалями по гимнастике и внутренними заседаниями UEG уже является моей обязанностью. Принимая во внимание большой объём работы и в связи с выполнением данной стратегии, я должен полностью посвятить себя Европе. Помимо этого, я также должен участвовать на всех совещаниях Международной Федерации Гимнастики (FIG). Как видно, продолжение мной выполнения обязанностей Генерального секретаря, выполненных до сих пор, также невозможно и во временном отношении”, - отметил Ф. Гаибов.
