Moreover 74% respondents stated that SIA helped them to decide to get active as a social entrepreneur. Today 59% of survey participants have an occupation with a social purpose. Almost half of the SIA participants took part in the offered workshops and 97% of these workshop participants found it useful and would recommend the workshop participation to others.
The sample was clustered into SIA workshop participants, submitters of project, finalists and winners. Altogether 2042 surveys and 19 interview request for winners were sent out. 95 survey responses were collected, of which 40 were filled out completely and could be evaluated. 4 personal interviews were conducted. The impact of SIA on participants and their projects is unmistakable. The survey reveals that 89% of participants feel that SIA increased their understanding of the concept of social entrepreneurship. Concerning SIA’s impact on the projects, it was discovered that 74% say that SIA helped them to find an idea or significantly improve an idea for a social project. Although 61% state that they would have started a social project even without SIA, 71% admit that their idea would be less structured and thought through without the participation. As can be seen in the graph below, 55% of the submitted projects are up and running today and 27% are put on hold with the option to be continued in the near future. 84% of the existing projects are registered as a company, of which 39% are in the stage of impact scale/expansion. 46% of respondents indicate that they are still in touch with the people they met through SIA.

That is to say that the introductory signals will be analysed for the occurrence of anaphoric references (e.g. “That is so completely clever!!!”), direct addresses to a user (e.g. “Hi Annette,...”), or the attestation of speech related interactional features (e.g. aww, woohoo, oooh), and their functions and distribution in different types of blogs.
Drawing on previous work on reader comments as an aboutness indicator (Kehoe and Gee 2012), this paper focuses on the initial position in comments on blog posts. The aim is, on the one hand, to discover how the actual comment text is introduced and which specific parts of speech appear in initial position. On the other hand, this paper will study the way in which constructions establish interactional and cohesive links to the preceding blog post or previous comments. This will allow new insight to be gained into the creation of cohesive relations between posts and comments and into the interaction between users in the increasingly widespread medium of blogs, which - far from being restricted to the diary domain anymore - has also found widespread use in professional contexts.

In October 2003, a Special Research Program "International Tax Coordination" (SFB ITC) was established by the Austrian Science Fund and was provided with funds of EUR 1.7 million. Researchers from tax law, social security law, constitutional law, business administration, public finance, as well as economists and historians, are working together closely on multi-disciplinary projects.
The SFB deals with a broad range of issues in tax coordination, such as assignment of taxing rights, international income tax harmonization, etc. In 2007, the Austrian Science Fund, after having conducted an extensive and international evaluation procedure, decided to extend the SFB for the next funding period (until 2010) and provided an additional EUR 1.8 million for research activities.

Even though the research field of user innovation has been developing over a period of more than four decades, there have been only occasional intersections with the research field of organizational design.
There is increasing consensus among practitioners and academics alike that we are in the midst of a paradigm shift from producer-centered and internal innovation processes toward user-centered and open innovation processes. This paradigm shift induces significant changes to the design of organizations. Even though the research field of user innovation has been developing over a period of more than four decades, there have been only occasional intersections with the research field of organizational design. In this article, we aim to provide an integrated perspective of the two fields. We first identify major user innovation strategies. We then derive the implications for each user innovation strategy on key dimensions of organizational design.

The 21st century is characterized by unprecedented challenges. Technological advances and social developments, together with a high level of interconnectedness due to globalization and the rise of the Internet are dramatically changing the world’s dynamics.   Strike as grounds for d...
Workers’ strikes are a very uncommon occurrence in Austria – hardly any other European country has as few strikes as Austria. Among law scholars, the opinion has prevailed for many years that it was acceptable to fire employees for going on strike.
