Open Educational Resources (OER) – Bei der Bereitstellung von Materialien für den Unterricht schafft die Lizenzierung mit offenen Lizenzen wie z.B. den Creative-Commons-Lizenzen Sicherheit bzgl. der Bedingungen, unter denen Lehrkräfte die Materialien nutzen dürfen. Um das Auffinden solcher Materialien zu erleichtern, hat Edutags einen so genannten CC-Crawler entwickelt, der jede eingestellte Ressource auf eine vorhandene maschinenlesbare CC-Lizenz überprüft. In der aktuellen Projektphase soll Edutags zum zentralen Verweissystem für OER(CC)-Material ausgebaut werden.

For water electrolysis, OER at the anode offers the biggest potential for increasing the efficiency due to the fact that the anode overpotential is typically twice as high as on the cathode side.

Mnohé z kosmopolitních druhů řas jsou schopny přežívat v podmínkách extrémů prostředí. V této studii jsme se zaměřili na hodnocení vlivu opakovaného radiačního stresu na fotosyntetické procesy zelené vláknité řasy z rodu Klebsormidium sp. (CCALA, kmen 859) pocházející z mokřadu v okolí jezera Monolith (ostrov Jamese Rosse, Antarktida). V průběhu kultivace (teplota 10°C; ozářenost 100 mikromol.m-2.s-1 ; 16/8h den/noc) a expozice (4h 3000 mikromol.m-2.s-1) byly změny ve fotosyntetické aktivitě zaznamenávány pomocí měření indukované fluorescence chlorofylu (Ft, Quantum yield) a měřením změn rychlosti vývinu kyslíku (OER). V průběhu expozice byly odebírány vzorky pro analýzy změn pigmentového složení (chl a, chl b, karotenoidy). Změny sledovaných parametrů ukazují na postupné snižování rychlosti obnovení fotosyntetických procesů po opakovaných epizodách fotoinhibice. Zároveň lze konstatovat vysokou míru tolerance fotosyntetického aparátu Klebsormidium sp. vůči krátkodobému radiačnímu stresu.

The objective of the project proposal is the design of advanced noble metal-free transition metal nano-oxides for the oxygen reduction (ORR) and oxygen evolution reaction (OER) in alkaline media in view of their application in URFCs.
In eenheden verdeelde regeneratieve brandstofcellen (URFC's) zijn een opkomende technologie voor opslag en conversie van elektriciteitsoverschotten geproduceerd door bronnen van hernieuwbare energie (zonne-energie, windenergie,...). De uitdaging is om actieve, stabiele en goedkope elektrokatalytische materialen te ontwikkelen voor de electrodes van deze brandstofcellen. Het doel van dit project is het ontwerp van geavanceerde transitiemetaal nano-oxides, vrij van edele metalen, voor de zuurstofreductie en de zuurstofevolutiereactie in alkaline media voor URFC's. Hiertoe zullen we kwantumchemische methodes gebruiken om katalytisch actieve centra te voorspellen en electron transfer rates te berekenen. Op basis van deze informatie zullen we simpele en complexe nano-oxides en hydroxides gebaseerd op 3d metalen (Mn, Fe, Co, Ni) synthetiseren, en metastabiele oxide nanostructuren met een lange levensduur. De structuur van deze materialen zal bepaald worden met transmissie-elektronenmicroscopie. De elektrochemische en elektrokatalytische eigenschappen zullen bepaald worden. We zullen kinetische modellen ontwikkelen die toelaten de kinetic rate constants en adsorbaat bedekking te bepalen. Begrip op een moleculair niveau zal ons toelaten om geavanceerde oxide nanomateriaen te ontwerpen met hoge catalytische activiteiten zowel wat de zuurstofreductie als de zuurstofevolutie betreft.

Andrea Villarini presented the general objectives that led to the design of the project, Laura Mc Loughlin presented in detail the contents and activities of the MOOCs prepared for the English language, Matteo La Grassa focused on those built for the Italian language, And, finally, Stavroula Sokoli described the characteristics and the contents of the OER database created to support the MOOCs, which will be made available to all those who wish to create distance courses for these two languages ​​in the future.
Il 19 gennaio si è svolto all’Università per Stranieri di Siena un convegno dal titolo “Nuovi strumenti per l’apprendimento linguistico di studenti in mobilità: i risultati del progetto MOVE-ME” nel quale si sono presentati e discussi i risultati ottenuti dal nostro progetto. Andrea Villarini ha presentato gli obiettivi generali che hanno portato all’ideazione del progetto, Laura Mc Loughlin ha presentato nel dettaglio i contenuti e le attività dei MOOC predisposti per la lingua inglese, Matteo La Grassa si è soffermato su quelli costruiti per la lingua italiana, infine, Stavroula Sokoli ha descritto le caratteristiche e i contenuti del data base realizzato a supporto dei MOOC e che sarà messo a disposizione per tutti coloro che intenderanno in futuro realizzare corsi a distanza per queste due lingue.

But in spite of the criticism, these new types of teaching and learning continued to evolve, testing new ways systematising knowledge, adding value, and introducing pedagogic and professionalising elements to something that had already become an everyday reality anybody who does not want to be left out of the fluid society that we live in: personal language environments, Khan Academy, Open Education Resources (OER), edublogs, etc.
Acostumats a entendre l’educació com una cosa lineal, limitada en el temps, tancada en temples sagrats, les formes d’aprenentatge «informals» –però no menys reals i potents que les «formals»– que sorgeixen amb el desenvolupament de les tecnologies vinculades a Internet reben crítiques des dels seus inicis. Primer apareixen les reticències envers l’aprenentatge virtual (l’anomenat e-learning), malgrat que les primeres experiències i plataformes volen reflectir els entorns tancats de les aules. Poc després –i en paral·lel a l’augment quantitatiu i qualitatiu de recursos a Internet que comencen a reproduir la biblioteca universal que ja vaticinava Asimov–, es comença a parlar de la «Googleització» de l’aprenentatge, de la superficialitat del que la gent pot aprendre de manera lliure, emprant Google, qualsevol altre cercador o les xarxes socials i intel·lectuals (Facebook, Twitter, els blogs, etc.), on comparteix interessos. Malgrat les crítiques, aquestes formes d’ensenyament i aprenentatge han evolucionat amb intents de sistematització, d’afegir valor, d’aportar elements de metodologia pedagògica i professionalitzadora al que ja comença a constituir un hàbit vital per a tot individu que no vulgui quedar fora de la societat fluida en la qual viu: Entorns personals d’aprenentatge, Khan Academy, recursos educatius oberts (els anomenats OER), edublogs, etc. L’última tendència recull elements de múltiples experiències sota el nom de l’educació social oberta. I en aquest context situem els MOOC.
