Die beeindruckende Felsformation hoch über dem Kalterer See ist heute unser Ausflugsziel. Die Rosszähne ähneln wahrlich ein wenig den Pferdezähnen. Nah aneinander ragen die Felsen in die Höhe und bieten dabei einen perfekten Rundumblick auf das Tal. Doch nun zur Wanderung.

The destination of this hike, the impressive rock formations high above Lake Caldaro, really resemble horse teeth. They rise into the sky close together and offer a beautiful panoramic view on the valley. Our hike starts in the small hamlet of Kreit above Campi di Lago where we park our car. We follow the signposts indicating “Leuchtenburg” (Castelchiaro fortress, no. 13) through vineyards and apple orchards.

La particolare formazione di rocce, in alto sopra il Lago di Caldaro, è oggi la nostra meta escursionistica. I Denti di Cavallo assomigliano, con un po’ di fantasia, veramente alla dentatura di un cavallo. Queste rocce si trovano poste strette una vicina l’altra ed offrono inoltre una splendida vista panoramica sulla valle. Ma dedichiamoci ora all’escursione.
