On both sides of the hall the sections form comblike structures which house the MPs' offices and create courtyards enclosed on three sides on the longitudinal flanks of the building. Eight cylinders structures the full height of the building penetrate the comb structure in such a way that half of them protrude into the hall and the other half into the courtyards. Their distinctive round shape indicates their use: this is where the committee rooms are located. The round shape of the eight cylinders is accentuated by dedicated lighting. Recesses between the bottom edge of the gallery ceilings and the cylinder walls house curving light coves which bathe the walls in a soft light from above and visually detach the galleries from the cylinders through rings of light.

Die Außenwände der Tiefgarage tragen eine Verkleidung aus raumhohen Edelstahlpaneelen, deren strukturiert geprägte Oberfläche in einem Champagnergoldton schimmert. Schuppenartig lösen sich die acht Meter langen Paneele von der Wand und ragen dadurch leicht schräg in den Raum.

The exterior walls of the underground car park are encased on the inside in floor-to-ceiling stainless steel panels with a finely nubbed surface texture that glistens in a shade of champagne gold. Like scales, the 8-metre-long panels peel away from the wall and lean out gently into the space. Emanating from the vertical joint between wall and panel, a homogeneous glow immerses the stainless steel surfaces in a soft grazing light. Since the luminance abates towards the end of the panel and then suddenly increases at the next groove, a regular rhythm articulates the wall surfaces.
