Vandaag de dag dankt de stad zijn populariteit aan zijn lange, fijne zandstrand en dan vooral dankzij de Base Nature Francois Léotard, een voormalige militaire basis ( de grote vliegtuighangars zijn nog aanwezig ),waar nu een recreatie gebied aan zee is ontstaan.

Fréjus, a harbour from Antiquity where the Romans have left various buildings (arenas, theatre, aqueduct), has also known a wealthy period during the Middle Ages. This period has left beautiful Episcopal monuments, which can be found in the heart of town. Today, the town is mainly popular for its long, fine sand beach and also for the nature base François Léotard; a leisure area by the sea.

Port antique où les romains ont laissé de nombreux vestiges (arènes, théâtre, aqueduc), Fréjus connut également une époque prospère au Moyen-Age. Elle a en a hérité un ensemble épiscopal de toute beauté, au cœur de la vieille ville. Aujourd'hui, elle doit en grande partie son succès à sa longue plage de sable fin qui en font une station balnéaire très populaire notamment grâce à sa base nature François Léotard qui compose un très bel espace de loisir en bord de mer.

Fréjus, ein alter Hafen, in dem die Römer viele Überreste (Amphitheater, Theater, Aquädukt) hinterlassen haben, hat im Mittelalter auch eine Blütezeit erlebt. Mitten in der Altstadt gibt es einen prächtigen Bischofspalast. Heute verdankt die Stadt einen großen Teil ihres Erfolgs dem langen feinen Sandstrand, der sie zu einem volkstümlichen Badeort macht, vor allem dank seiner Base nature François Léotard, einem sehr schönen Freizeitbereich am Meer.
