Saint John Lateran is the cathedral of the Pope as Bishop of Rome. Property of the Vatican, it is considered the mother of all churches. This is indeed the oldest church of the city, originally built by Constantine in around 320.Rebuilt in the course of history, it is in the baptistery that the very early Christian ruins are best preserved.

San Giovanni in Laterano, è la cattedrale del Papa come vescovo di Roma. Proprietà del Vaticano, è considerata la madre di tutte le chiese. Si tratta in effetti, della chiesa più antica della città, infatti, fu costruita da Costantino nel 320. Ricostruita nel corso della storia, nel suo battistero sono ben conservate reliquie di epoca paleocristiana.
