SCK•CEN studies of the behaviour of radioactive substances in the biosphere (air, water, soil, plants, etc.) and geosphere (subterranean clay layers, groundwater, etc.). We also evaluate the impact of radiation on mankind and the environment.

Le SCK•CEN étudie le comportement des matières radioactives dans la biosphère (air, cours d’eau, sols, plantes,...), dans la géosphère (couches d’argile en sous-sol, nappe phréatique,…) et évalue les effets des rayonnements sur l’homme et l’environnement.

SCK•CEN bestudeert het gedrag van radioactieve stoffen in de biosfeer (lucht, rivieren, bodem, planten,…) en de geosfeer (ondergrondse kleilagen, grondwater,…) en evalueert de effecten van ioniserende straling op mens en milieu.
