Dal 1.1.2010 la Cantina Vini Merano e la Cantina Merano Burggräfler si sono associate e quest’ultima è oggi la più grande cantina vinicola del Burgraviato, cui microproduttori e piccole imprese, con vigneti sui pendii soleggiati delle colline altoatesine, consegnano le loro uve provenienti da Lana, Cermes Marlengo, Lagundo, Merano, Tirolo, Rifiano, Caines e Scena.

The Merano and Burggräfler wineries merged as of 1 January 2010. The Burggräfler winery is now the largest cellar in the Burggrafenamt area, drawing on mini- and micro-vineyards situated on sunny slopes in Lagundo, Tirolo, Caines, Rifiano, Scena, Marlegno, Cermes and Lana. The finest wines are produced from the grape varieties that thrive in Meran, such as Vernatsch, Weissburgunder (Pinot Bianco), Chardonnay, Müller Thurgau, Ruländer (Pinot Grigio), Sauvignon, Gewürztraminer, Goldmuskateller, etc. Wines from both wineries are now available at both locations, in Marlengo and in Merano.
