A family farm which has been cultivated for generations of about 45 hectares of land, of which 18 are vineyards and 1 is olive grove. We are a young couple and we are the custodians of this land which we cultivate through organic and biodynamic farming; there is a youthful spirit throughout the farm. We are a few kilometers from Lucca. The main activities take place in the vineyard and in the wine cellar: those interested in learning the art of winemaking can follow the stages of cultivation and the processing of the grapes. For those interested in the activities of the agritourism you can participate and help during the wine tastings organized for our guests and work together doing small gardening jobs around the farm. We can accommodate up to 2 wwoofers at a time up to a maximum of one month. Accommodation, which is in rooms in a two-story building next to the office with canteen which is used and shared by everyone, is three bedrooms and one bathroom, lunches are shared but for other meals wwoofers are autonomous and during the grape harvest meals will be eaten with the interns on the farm. Ciao a tutti! I am Edoardo a young wine-maker (27 years old) who has just opened a wine-growing farm on the slopes of the Alps, in Domodossola (17 km from Switzerland and 120 km from Milan). Before being a host I was a wwoofer and I really enjoyed the experience. I like to exchange ideas, see new perspectives, and live in the midst of nature. At the moment I have about one hectare of vineyard (Nebbiolo and Merlot), some sheep and goats. I would like to meet motivated people who want to share experiences and learn together. The best time to come and see me is from spring (March) until Autumn (October - November) I can teach you how to manage the vegetable garden, about wine production and winemaking. Each month there is a different job to be done on the farm: from harvesting fruits and vegetables to making wine. There is no minimum time: whoever wants will be welcome in my farm for 1 hour to 1 month, obviously the more time we spend together the more things you will see / learn. I speak English, Spanish and Italian. It is not all work,there are also many other attractions: mountain walks, spas, ziplines and lakes. We are a family of four people: a couple (34 and 33 years) and two children aged 6 and 4 and we are on the southeast coast of Sardinia. The main crop is 3 hectares of citrus fruits. For family use we also grow vegetables, wheat, olives, almonds, grape for wine and mushrooms. We are experimenting with saffron and avocado. The main work is the management of the citrus trees (harvest, pruning, irrigation ...), we will also need help in the garden and the vineyard, for pruning olive trees, with firewood, cleaning of common areas and other activities, depending on need. The crops are not in a single plot, but are split into different plots of land that can be reached by car or, in some cases, if you wish, by bicycle. We are five brothers aged between 25 and 40. We cultivate the land that our family has had for three generations in the hills a few kilometers from the shore of Lake Garda. On a 25-hectare estate we produce wine, oil and local ancient varieties of cereals, and we grow fodder for our horses. Our riding school offers lessons for children on horseback riding and activities, and offers programs for youths and adults with disabilities, in collaboration with local institutions and associations. The farm is open for visits, courses, events and tastings, and there is a farm shop where we sell our produce. Through organic farming, the care of the vineyards and the manual and high quality processing techniques of our products we work hard to offer a good and healthy product, whilst safeguarding the health of the soil and the integrity of the landscape. You will be asked to participate in the work in the vineyard and in the countryside, maintenance and support in the wine making activities, and collaborate during events and tastings. Our farm is located in the hills overlooking the Golfo di Castellammare. You can get here by train or bus to Partinico or Alcamo. I live here with my husband and our two children, my parents and the family of N., who works with us on the farm. We cultivate about 17 hectares of vineyards, olive groves and arable land from which we produce wine, olive oil, vegetables and fruit. I am a little over 60 years old and run this 9 ha farm on my own. It consists of 9 hectares of which 3 are olive grove (550 trees), a small vineyard, chestnut wood, 2 has of pasture and the rest is woodland. The farm has been organic since 1982, when I started. The main agricultural work is from September to April, starting with the grape harvest, then the chestnut, wild mushroom and olives harvests (until Christmas). In January there is wood to be cut in the woodland and then the vines and until the end of April the olives need to be pruned. In the summer I offer rural hospitality and there is a small room available for WWOOFers. In the summer months there is work in the vegetable garden, kitchen and with hay-making. Apart from the citrus orchard the farm has been totally replanted and has been organic since the begining, now we are gradually starting to use biodynamic methods. Our main activities, depending on the season, are caring for the 4 ha citrus orchard (clementines and small collection of varied citrus), 2,5 ha vineyard, fruit orchard, olive grove and pomegranate orchard. We have a vegetable garden for vegetables for our own consumption and we exchange excess. We have cats, dogs, 2 donkeys, chickens, turkeys and geese. We have a small centre in the old house and have two apartments there that we rent and are planning to convert more. Our main aim is to find a lifestyle which is different to urban living, all the renovation work has been done with great respect for energy conservation and we have solar panels. This farm is made up of two properties: 1) on the Padana plain at Casale di Scodosia and 2) at Battaglia Terme inside the Parco Regionale dei Colli Euganei - Ca Vecchia. 1) The farm (26 hectares) consists of the outbuildings of the 7th century Venetian villa Correr and is an oasis for wildlife. A forest of oaks, hazelnuts, walnuts, ash, alder and paulownie covers half of the land. A hectare is kept for the wildlife. Twelve hectares are cultivated with soya, maize, wheat and lucerne. In the vineyard there are chicken and goose houses, and between the kiwi vines is the shed for the donkeys, cows and sheep. The rabbits have their own fenced area outdoors. This is also an agritourism and farm school. 2) Agriturismo Ca Vecchia consists of 50 hectares of woodland in the Parco Regionale dei Colli Euganei 1 km from Catajo Castle, which the agritourism was once part of. Ciao, we are a couple who are finally realising our dream! Our adventure began four years ago as WWOOFers when we exchanged experiences and work practices on organic farms, and today we want to continue as hosts with the same enthusiastic spirit with new WWOOFers. We are doing a two-year course in Permaculture, our project will have zero impact on the environment, - experimentation and the search for alternative solutions is our goal. Our farm is located in Torre Guaceto State Natural Reserve. The habitat consists of wetlands, coastal dunes, Mediterranean marquis, pristine beaches where turtles nest, age-old olive groves and countryside. We have small restaurant and produce vegetables - using synergic and organic methods, olive oil and have a small fruit and almond orchard. The story of this farm will be the story of all those who participate in the completion of the project. Accommodation a double or triple room, or camping in the summer. You can reach us by train (to Ostuni or Brindisi), by plane or by bus. Languages spoken: a little English and French.

Small vineyard in full synergy with nature. We are at the scenic outskirts of Aosta, we can reach the center of the city on foot, but we have our own vineyards in front of the house and a lot of nature around us. We have about 2 hectares of vineyards, thanks to which we produce wine with lots of love, fruit trees and a large vegetable garden for our own consumption. We are a couple with a child born in January 2014 and a second in November 2016. . We welcome you in our apartment from April to November, with a minimum stay of one month, one or two people, even couples who have manual skills to help us in a variety of tasks depending on the needs of the moment, as in the vegetable gardening, harvesting fruit, in the vineyard. For us it fundamental that the spirit in which we live together with us and with every living creature, both serene, is sincere and peaceful. We offer a room with two beds and bathroom. We love to cook with our produce, and we share with pleasure all our meals. We speak Italian and French, we are learning with English, but if you have the will to come and meet us, you are welcome!

L’azienda, biologica dal 2006, coltiva cereali, orto, frutteto, vigna e un piccolo bosco. Qui si possono sperimentare e confrontare tecniche vecchie e nuove anche alla luce di un'agricoltura non intensiva ma di qualità nel rispetto del suolo e di uno sviluppo sostenibile.
This has been an organic farm since 2006 and we cultivate cereals, vegetables, fruit trees, a small vineyard and woodland. On the farm you can experience and compare old and new farming techniques, we use non intensive methods of farming and pay great attention to quality and respect for the soil. The farm was my dream, I am a teacher and after 25 years of working in nursery schools, recreation centres and as a theatrical entertainer, felt the need to show that there is another way, there are other flavours, rhythms, sounds, nuances and emotions. The fundamental issue at the centre of the farm are the educational and creative activities and importance of food for children and adults in these days. We organize workshops emphasising the importance of manual activities. The meetings with an artisan offer workshops in various fields (carpentry, DIY solar panels). There is a very friendly family atmosphere.

In azienda coltiviamo uva per la produzione di vino, abbiamo 50 ettari di terra di cui 30 destinati a vigna allevati secondo il metodo biologico (cert. Suolo e Salute) e gli altri 20 sono occupati da bosco.
On this farm we grow grapes for wine production, we have 50 ha of land, on 30 of which we grow grapes (cert. Soil and Health) and the other 20 are forest. The farm has an ancient tradition, wine has been produced here since the mid-1800s. My father bought it in 1973 and I, a woman have run it since 1990. On the farm, besides myself there are 4 permanent employees plus other seasonal workers who help during the harvest, pruning, tying and other jobs in the vineyard that are all done by hand. We are willing to receive WWOOFers throughout the year, it is clear that in the winter season (November-February) in the vineyard there is less work to do, because if it snows and the weather is bad we stop. The most interesting time to work in the vineyard is definitely the harvest (September). In the winter season we have more work in the office (especially sales area) and more demonstrations/events to attend. My house is on the farm, I have room to host up to 2 people, We speak English, French, Spanish.

Questa è una casa in pietra, circondata dal verde vivo dei colli della penisola Sorrentina, più precisamente si trova a Massa Lubrense, in località Monticchio. Pur non essendo molto grande c’è di tutto, una bella vigna, alberi di olivo, molti alberi da frutto e naturalmente vari orti; ci sono inoltre galline e api.
This is a rural contemporary family project aiming towards self sufficency. It has been going since 1991, and we run courses and workshops (for schools and associations etc) about rural ecological education, the use of wild aromatic herbs, water cycles, natural, artistic bread making etc. We have 2.5 hectares of land, use only natural methods and have a synergic vegetable garden. We grow 'Casusedda di Pruno' and 5 other ancient varieties of wheat. Activities include trekking with 9 donkeys. We have a workshop and Laboratories on construction with chestnut poles, stones, straw bales, lime and clay. We have a project 'Ciucciopolitana' with the donkeys, trekking along the paths of the Cilento and promoting communication and solidarity for high quality organic produce from the sea to the mountains. Accommodation in caravan or in own tent during busy periods. Stays of at least three weeks preferred, children welcome (our girls were born in 2002 and 2003). Languages spoken a little English and Spanish. Train to Vallo della Lucania or Sapri and from there bus to ROFRANO on weekdays.

Small 6 ha family run farm (2,5 ha of olives, 1 ha abandoned vineyard, pasture and woodland). We are situated in central Tuscany between Firenze, Lucca, Vinci, Pisa and Siena. We have Sardinian donkeys, Mohair goats, an old Jersey cow and Merinos sheep for their high quality wool, barnyard animals, cats, dogs and tortoises. Help needed with the olives and in vegetable garden, cutting wood, maintenance jobs in and outside the house, with the animals, harvesting and preparing seasonal fruits. Families and children welcome, accommodation in room for periods of at least 2 weeks. Meals genuine, possibly vegetarian, vegan and can cater for other diets if requested. English spoken and a little French, Spanish and German.

Abbiamo comprato una casa tra le particolari colline del Montefeltro, nel comune di San Leo a 3 km da San Marino. Il terreno di questa casa è rimasto abbandonato per diversi anni, c'è un frutteto e una vigna che ci piacerebbe recuperare ed inoltre vorremo fare un orto biologico con una serra.
We are a family of 3, my husband, myself and our daughter of 17. Last year we bought this house which is situated amongst the hills of Montefeltro, in the municipality of San Leo, 3 km from San Marino. The land has been abandoned for several years, there is an orchard and a vineyard that we would like to reclaim and also we want to make an organic garden with a greenhouse. We are vegetarians and attend an Ashram (meditation centre) that is located 1 km from the house. We make ethnic jewellery and games for children which we sell in craft markets. The house is cozy and we have a double bedroom for you and, if necessary, a camper. Siete i benvenuti!

Il lavoro richiesto ai WWOOFer varia dall'aiuto nella vigna, nei campi nel periodo della fienagione, nel bosco, nell'orto e nell'accudire gli animali.
We are a small family run farm located in the hills of Oltrepò Pavese, we have a vineyard, arable fields, a small forest, we have breeds of poultry and cows which are in danger of extinction extinction. The agritourism offers meals and accommodation as well as various activities such as trekking, horseback riding and recreational / cultural activities. The work required by the WWOOFer varies from help in the vineyard, the fields during the hay season, the woods, the vegetable garden, and with caring for the animals. As far as tourism activities are concerned, the required help is in the preparation and implementation of trekking, and in other recreational activities offered to our guests (eg courses on how to make bread or cheese). Accommodation is in a room in our house with bathroom, WWOOFers eat with us. We speak English and Spanish.
