There is a natural progression for participants from an Include project to an Achieve project - the Include project could be the first step intervention to help them start their journey, through to being ready to come off benefits and then they could engage on an Achieve project to complete a paid supported employment placement. For this reason, organisations that run an Include project are also able to and are encouraged to run Include projects if capable.

Of those, 94 attained a recognised qualification, 23 entered volunteering, seven went into further education and 10 went into sustainable employment. Earlier this year, we commissioned a short film, which was shown for the first time at gofod3, introducing us to four participants, each with their own inspirational story to tell about their journey to employment and volunteering thanks to the help of the Bounce Back project and EU funding.

Welsh people with vision or hearing loss living in communities most at risk of marginalisation from the digital world are being supported to get online by an innovative RNIB project, run in partnership with, Vision Support and North Wales Society for the Blind.The Online Today project is training a team of eight full-time employed Digital Skills Officers, supported by 20 trained volunteers, to help people with sight loss 'begin their digital journey'. An 'entry level' campaign, it assumes participants have no prior knowledge of digital technology.

Last but not least, at the National Trust in Wales we are looking at how we can improve the way we deliver our 'volunteer journey' through the medium of Welsh for instance our capacity to deliver welsh language induction sessions and training. We are also starting to offer more opportunities for people to use Welsh through their volunteering (for example our volunteer Welsh Language Correspondent who writes stories for our volunteering website, and visitor-facing roles at our built properties).
