Nid dim ond yn y DG y gwelwyd gwaith Earthfall; roedd yna gamau cyffrous hefyd yn y berthynas barhaus â Theatr Chorea. Cafodd y perfformiad cyntaf o After the Birds, o flaen aelodau o Senedd yr UE yn Ludz ei gynnal ar yr un noson ag agoriad At Swim Two Boys yn Aberhonddu.
However, it is not just the UK in which Earthfall’s work has been seen, the ongoing relationship with Teatr Chorea took another exciting step forward; first performing After the Birds, to members of the EU Parliament, in Ludz on the same night that At Swim Two Boys opened in Brecon. The show then went on to do two Christmas performances at the renowned Meyerhold Centre, an infamous venue for physical theatre. Lara Ward, one of Earthfall’s company members also choreographed a choral piece with Chorea's 2011 Oratorium Dance Project.

"There is a longstanding link between arts and the waterways. Art in all its forms has a fantastic capacity to surprise, delight, challenge and explore. This partnership will encourage people to visit and support the waterways and we hope that this initiative will make people smile and take a moment to stop and think about the wonderful canals that are on their doorsteps. Cadw, my historic environment service, has worked hard with the Arts Council of Wales to promote the historic environment through the arts"

Daw dyn sioe tlawd i'r dref â'i syrcas sy'n colli staff o hyd. Ond yna cyrraedd dieithryn ar yr un pryd ag y caiff y dofwr llewod ddamwain. Caiff ei berswadio i ymgymryd â'r swydd gyda chanlyniadau doniol o drwsgl.
The show is a melodrama full of action, excitement and laughs inspired by the comedy genius of Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton and other stars of the golden age of the silver screen. It tells the story of a down-at-heel showman who is rapidly running out of acts for his travelling circus when a stranger arrives in town at the same time that the lion tamer has an unfortunate accident, the newcomer is 'volunteered' for the job with catastrophic and hilarious results. The multi-talented performers combine circus skills, slapstick comedy and an original musical score to create an incredible black and white show which encourages audiences of all ages to join in, booing the baddie and cheering the goody.

"Rwy’n teimlo’n ffodus dros ben i gael gweithio gyda cherddor mor ddawnus a theimladwy â Tauseef. Mae ei ddawn wrth anadlu bywyd newydd i hen farddoniaeth gyda’i lais yn syfrdanol, ac mae yna gysylltiad thematig naturiol rhwng canu ghazal a’n traddodiad gwerin ni yng Nghymru. Dyma’r tro cyntaf erioed i ganu ghazal gael ei gyfuno â thraddodiad cerddorol arall, ac rwy’n gyffrous ac yn llawn chwilfrydedd wrth edrych ymlaen at y cyfle hwn i archwilio dau draddodiad diwylliannol sydd mor debyg ond mor wahanol i’w gilydd mewn ffordd hollol unigryw."
"I feel incredibly fortunate to be working with such a gifted and soulful musician as Tauseef. His talent for bringing ancient poetry alive with his voice is astounding, and there’s a natural thematic connection between ghazal singing and our folk tradition in Wales. This is the first time in history that ghazal singing has merged with another music tradition, and I’m extremely curious and excited by this unique exploration into our differing yet similar cultural heritage."

Set to the propulsive rhythms of John Adams’ Son of Chamber Symphony, Martin Lawrance’s Run For It is a high energy work inspired by the power of Olympic athletes. This dynamic piece features a striking sculptural installation created by Glasgow-born visual artist Martin Boyce built on an aesthetic concept sparked by creative workshops with the Company, and which was further developed into his recent Turner Prize winning piece. "I’m working on movement-base phrases that represent the discus, the pole vault and more, and with the dancers seeing how we can translate this into dance terms. The piece will start and end with a real fast tracked energy but there is also a beautiful slow movement in the middle. I want to show the resistance and determination; the muscularity of an athlete"

"If one of the undercurrents of the 54th Biennale is how artists are the visionaries and the crystallizers of our consciousness in a world characterised often by a superficial and apparently inescapable sense of irony, then Davies has been offering this counterbalancing serious take on the world for some time, and inviting greater acknowledgement for his art’s intent. It is not surprising that this perspective comes from Wales and its historic position."

Gallai fod yn hynod o arw a brwnt - yn enwedig ar gyfer ei hoes. Mae rhan ohonof yn ymgreinio ar ei rhan, ac mae rhan arall ohonof yn dweud ‘cer amdani Rachel, da ferch!’ Ac yna weithiau byddaf am roi siglad iddi.
A volatile thrill seeker known for her shows of antisocial behaviour, an appearance on the Russell Harty TV chat show was so drunkenly chaotic that it ended in Rachel being dragged offstage – and the tapes destroyed! Rachel is a mass of fantastic contradictions, which makes her a rich and entertaining character to play… continues Helen …You could call her one of the original 'ladettes' - her wild, foul-mouthed, attention-grabbing behaviour in public was very shocking - and she meant to shock. She could be incredibly crude and obscene - especially for her time. Part of me cringes on her behalf, and part of me says – ‘go on Rachel, ata girl!’ And then sometimes you just want to shake her. She had a great career of her own but once she married superstar Rex Harrison, she gave it all up in order to be 'The Perfect Housewife' which failed miserably and led to her public outbursts becoming even more wild and provocative..

Wedi cael cydnabyddiaeth helaeth am ei waith neilltuol yn seiliedig ar ei gartref teuluol, yma mae Finnemore yn cynnwys ffotograffau mawr du a gwyn wedi eu symleiddio ond yn llawn emosiwn. Yn dwyn y teitl Everyday maent yn nodi’r berthynas yna sydd rhwng pethau a lle, a thramwy presenoldeb dynol drwy’r byd hwn, gyda naratif nid yn unig yn berthnasol i Lidice, ond i ni gyd.
Exploring a common thread around themes of loss and memory, Finnemore, Ventura and Trezise create new commentaries that link with Lidice through personal responses. Observing collective ways of remembering and considering generational memory as a vital means of continuing to know the past is a key theme. Acknowledged for his distinctive work centered around the family home, here Finnemore’s large scale black and white photographs are pared down but still emotionally resonant. Entitled Everyday they encapsulate dialogues between objects and place and the passing of human presence, with narratives that relate not only to Lidice but ultimately to us all.

Roedd yn ddarn nodweddiadol o'i gelfyddyd arbennig sy'n haenog a difrifol - ar yr un pryd yn weithred syniadol wedi ei gyfuno â ffurfiolaeth yn y llawr a gafodd ei ailosod ar dir y fforest, ac yna delwedd i feddwl yn ei chylch fel yr adenillir y llawr gan natur.
Known for his installations that question power structures and globalization, Davies once returned a Victorian parquet floor salvaged in a reclamation yard in Swansea to the rainforest of Belize where the wood was originally sourced and cut down by slaves. It was a signal piece of his particular layered and serious art - at one and the same time a conceptual act, combined with formalism in the re-laid floor on the forest ground, and then an image to ponder as the floor is reclaimed by nature. These are acts of homage, of artifice and of politics combined.

Ar ôl gweithio fel Swyddog Gyrfaoedd yng Nghasnewydd, ac fel cynhyrchydd rhaglenni radio gyda BBC Radio Cymru yn Abertawe, aeth Catherine a’r teulu i fyw dramor yn yr Iseldiroedd ac yna yn Unol Daleithiau America.
Catherine was brought up in Pwll, a village near Llanelli, and graduated in Welsh from Bangor University. Following periods working as a Careers Officer in Newport, and as a producer of radio programmes with BBC Radio Cymru in Swansea, Catherine and her family emigrated to live in the Netherlands, and later the USA. Having returned to Wales, she started working for Menter a Busnes, the economic development company, as a researcher, project manager, director, and eventually as Deputy Chief Executive, focusing in particular on Human Resources and project management. She has worked with several companies and organisations to help them in developing their business and was a member of the Welsh Language Board until 2012. She now lives in Carmarthen, but retains a foothold in Llanelli.

Dengys yr astudiaeth hefyd, yn yr un ffordd ag astudiaethau eraill, mai prif gymhellion cynulleidfaoedd yw’r rhaglen ac yna safon y ddarpriaeth, a thra bo lleoliadau theatrig yn medru darparu awyrgylch cyfforddus a phrofiad cymdeithasol i gynulleidfaoedd, dylid ystyried yr effaith bosib ar lefelau mynychu’r dyfodol a’r effaith posib ar raglennu digwyddiadau byw.
The research did, however, reveal some areas where there could be potential for problems in the future. Most notably that the development of digital broadcasts and online downloads has the potential to change the face of arts consumption away from the established theatre venues. The study also showed, as others have, that audiences are motivated primarily by programme and then by quality, and while theatre venues can provide comfortable surroundings and a social experience for audiences, the potential impact on future attendance and live performance programming needs to be considered.
