The R&TTE Directive establishes the regulatory framework for the placing on the market, free circulation and putting in service of radiocommunications equipment and telecommunications terminal equipment within the EU. In addition to covering terminals (line-connected and wireless), it also applies to all radio equipment including that employed by the telecommunications networks (GSM base stations, for example). It replaces Directive 98/13/EC of 12 February 1998 1).

Mit der R&TTE-Richtlinie wird ein neuer Regelungsrahmen für das Inverkehrbringen, den freien Verkehr sowie die Inbetriebnahme von Funkanlagen und Telekommunikationsendeinrichtungen in der Gemeinschaft festgelegt. Ihr Anwendungsgebiet erstreckt sich nicht nur auf Endeinrichtungen (leitungsgebundenene oder solche mit Nutzung des Frequenzspektrums) sondern auch auf alle Funkanlagen, einschliesslich der für das Fernmeldenetz bestimmten Anlagen (z.B. GSM-Basisstationen). Die neue Richtlinie ersetzt die Richtlinie 98/13/EG vom 12. Februar 1998 1).

Con la direttiva R&TTE viene stabilito un nuovo quadro normativo per l'immissione in commercio, la libera circolazione e la messa in servizio di apparecchiature radio e apparecchiature terminali di telecomunicazione nella Comunità. Il suo campo d'applicazione non si estende solo alle apparecchiature terminali (quelle collegate via filo o quelle che utilizzano lo spettro delle frequenze), ma a tutte le apparecchiature radio, inclusi gli impianti per la rete di telecomunicazione (ad es. le stazioni di base GSM). La nuova direttiva sostituisce la direttiva 98/13/CE del 12 febbraio 1998 1).

Dans le cadre d'une mise au concours couronnée de succès, l'OFCOM, mandaté par la ComCom, a attribué les fréquences de téléphonie mobile déjà libres ou qui le deviendront entre 2014 et 2017, y compris celles du dividende numérique (anciennes fréquences de radiodiffusion).

In a successful auction, OFCOM, on behalf of ComCom, auctioned the currently free mobile radio frequencies and those which will become free by 2014 and 2017 respectively, including those of the so-called digital dividend (previously broadcasting frequencies). The three existing mobile operators Orange, Sunrise and Swisscom were able to purchase spectrum which will enable them to extend their networks using the latest mobile technologies such as LTE (Long Term Evolution) and to provide consumers in Switzerland with high-quality mobile communication services. The revenue from the auction amounted to a total of CHF 996 268 000. This goes to the Federal Treasury.

Im Rahmen einer erfolgreich verlaufenen Auktion hat das BAKOM im Auftrag der ComCom die heute freien und per 2014 bzw. 2017 frei werdenden Mobilfunkfrequenzen, inkl. jene der sogenannten Digitalen Dividende (ehemalige Rundfunkfrequenzen), versteigert. Die drei bestehenden Mobilfunkbetreiber Orange, Sunrise und Swisscom konnten dabei Frequenzausstattungen erwerben, welche es erlauben, ihre Netze mit den neusten Mobilfunktechnologien wie z.B. LTE (Long Term Evolution) zu erweitern und den Konsumentinnen und Konsumenten in der Schweiz qualitativ hoch stehende Mobilfunkdienste anzubieten. Die Einnahmen aus der Auktion betrugen insgesamt 996'268'000 Franken. Diese fliessen in die Bundeskasse.

Nel quadro di un'asta conclusasi con successo, su incarico della ComCom, l'UFCOM ha attribuito le frequenze per la telefonia mobile che sono già disponibili o che si libereranno a partire dal 2014 o dal 2017, comprese quelle appartenenti al cosiddetto "dividendo digitale" (in passato impiegate per la radiodiffusione). Aggiudicandosi questi pacchetti di frequenze, i tre attuali operatori di telefonia mobile Orange, Sunrise e Swisscom potranno integrare le proprie reti con le più moderne tecnologie di telefonia mobile come per esempio LTE (Long Term Evolution), nonché offrire agli utenti della telefonia mobile in Svizzera servizi di qualità elevata. I proventi dell'asta, che ammontavano complessivamente a 996 268 000 franchi, sono confluiti nelle casse della Confederazione.
