The gallery is 28ft long and 17ft wide. There is an alcove on one side the diameter of which is 5ft long and just over 3dt wide. The Gallery is located at the top of the Gatehouse so there are roof trusses which take up some head space on either side of the room. It has a male/ female toilet, power points and lighting from some up-lighters. There are air vents located in the floor on both sides of the room which provide heating/cool air. The Time Credits system is developed in partnership with a host organisation, for example a local council, school, health and social care organisation that is the central bank of the system. Spice then provides support for the organisation to integrate Time Credits with their own services and the work of local organisations. Spice runs 36 currencies across the UK, with 24,000 people, mainly from the most disadvantaged communities giving to their local schools, community centres, health and social care organisations and environmental projects. 20 of these are in Wales.  Each programme has its own bespoke note, reflecting the local identity of the programme. The back of every note is the same so that individuals are able to spend their Time Credits across Spice’s national network of partners.

A bell-shaped, south-facing forecourt, formed by the wall, leads to a central passageway lined with limestone slabs set on end. Human remains had been placed in the two pairs of stone chambers that lead from the passageway. Corpses may have been placed in nearby caves until they decomposed, when the bones were moved to the tomb.

Flint is a modern town with a remarkable past.  It was the first of the new castle towns to be created by King Edward I in the late thirteenth century, and the outlines of the planned town that accompanied the castle can still be clearly traced in the modern streetscape.  Flint was a small town transformed by industrialisation, which first supported rebuilding and growth within the limits of the medieval town, then steady expansion outside it.  Although many of the town’s older buildings were lost in twentieth-century redevelopment, the main streets still contain good examples of building from the early 1800s to the mid-twentieth century, and the suburbs often retain the distinctive character of their period.

Yes - for evening events where the performance leads into night time and dark hours then temporary lighting would be needed. No wall walks or tower access. For evening events, access to the public is through the main gate and acess for evening events is only permitted after closing time. all events should take place after normal closing time to allow clearance of the monument before allowing entry to event by others. Other restrictions are areas which are cordoned off or areas beyond current fixed barriers. No dogs allowed on site unless assistance ones and no ball games etc. There are no other restricted areas on site except during conservation or maintenance works.

It consisted of a bank (now lost) around an inner ditch, which enclosed a circle of upright stones. The ditch originally measured 21 meters in diameter. The outer edge can still be seen and several stones from the inner stone circle also survive.
