Horyzon, the Swiss youth development organisation was founded in 1969 and is based in Olten. It is celebrating 45 years of existance! Horyzon is part of of the worldwide YMCA/YWCA movement. Since 1996, Horyzon has been recognised as an independant organisation and became a foundation in September 2008.

Horyzon, l'organisation suisse de développement pour les jeunes, a été fondée en 1969 et possède son siège à Olten. Elle a fêté son 40e anniversaire en 2009. Horyzon fait partie des Unions Chrétiennes internationales des Jeunes Gens et des Jeunes Femmes (YMCA/YWCA). Horyzon est devenu une association indépendante en 1996 ; depuis le 1er janvier 2009, Horyzon est une fondation sans but commercial, et qui ne génère pas de profits ; l’organisation opère dans le cadre des dispositions légales fixées par la Confédération et les cantons.

Horyzon, die Schweizer Entwicklungsorganisation für Jugendliche, wurde 1969 gegründet und hat ihren Sitz in Olten. Sie feierte 2009 ihren 40. Geburtstag. Horyzon ist Teil der internationalen Christlichen Vereine junger Menschen (YMCA/YWCA). Ab 1996 war Horyzon als eigenständiger Verein konstituiert; seit 1.1.2009 ist Horyzon eine Stiftung, die keine kommerziellen Ziele verfolgt, keinen Gewinn anstrebt und im Rahmen der gesetzlichen Bestimmungen des Bundes und des Kantons operiert.
