The situation is exactly what our organisation predicted to be the case, already in the 1970s, when Lyndon LaRouche commissioned to set up a task force which produced a study forecasting the consequences to the world’s population and the biosphere as a whole, were the “zero-growth” policies then being implemented by the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank not drastically altered. We forecast at that time that, under these policies a global ecological holocaust would be the inevitable consequence.

Die Lage hat sich genauso entwickelt, wie wir bereits in den 1970er Jahren vorausgesagt haben, als Lyndon LaRouche die Bildung einer Arbeitsgruppe angeordnet hatte, die in der Folge eine Studie erarbeitete, in der die Folgen für die Weltbevölkerung und die Biosphäre insgesamt vorausgesagt wurde, sollte die Nullwachstumspolitik, wie sie damals vom IWF und der Weltbank betrieben wurde, nicht drastisch geändert würde. Wir sagten damals voraus, daß unter einer solchen Politik ein globaler ökologischer Holocaust die zwangsläufige Folge wäre.
