Astronomen hebben pas geleden twee gepensioneerde sterren ontdekt (zogeheten witte dwergen) in het centrum van deze prachtige nevel die aan beeldhouwen zijn begonnen. De roodgekleurde straalstromen van materie aan beide zijden van deze nevel worden verdraaid tot ronde s-vormen door de twee om elkaar heen dansende, oude sterren.

When people retire they often take up a new hobby to fill the time, like drawing or fishing. Astronomers have recently spotted two ‘retired’ stars (called white dwarfs) at the centre of this beautiful nebula that have taken up sculpting! The red coloured jets of material shooting out of either side of this nebula are being twisted into curvy S-shapes by the dance between the two aged stars.

Wenn Menschen im Ruhestand sind, beginnen sie oft ein neues Hobby, um sich die Zeit zu vertreiben, wie zum Beispiel Malen oder Angeln. Astronomen haben kürzlich zwei “pensionierte” Sterne (Weiße Zwerge) im Zentrum dieses schönen Nebels entdeckt, die mit der Bildhauerei begonnen haben! Die rotfarbenden Materiestrahlen (sogenannte Jets), die aus beiden Seiten des Nebels herausschießen, sind durch den Tanz der beiden alternden Sterne “S”-förmig verdreht.

Cuando la gente se jubila a menudo busca una nueva afición para llenar el tiempo, como dibujar o pescar. Los astrónomos han visto recientemente dos estrellas "jubiladas" (llamadas enanas blancas) en el centro de esta hermosa nebulosa, ¡que se han puesto a esculpir! Los chorros rojos de material disparados de cada lado de la nebulosa están siendo retorcidos en formas curvas como de S por el baile entre las dos estrellas ancianas.

Quando la gente va in pensione si trova qualche hobby per riempire il tempo libero: c'è chi inizia a disegnare, chi va a pesca... Recentemente gli astronomi hanno scoperto che due stelle "in pensione" (chiamate nane bianche) al centro di questa bella nebulosa si sono date alla scultura! I getti di materiale colorati in rosso che escono fuori dai due lati di questa nebulosa vengono curvati in queste forme di S dalla danza in corso fra queste due stelle di una certa età.

Quando as pessoas se reformam muitas vezes arranjam um novo hobby para preencher o tempo, como desenhar ou pescar. Os astrónomos assinalaram recentemente duas estrelas "aposentadas" (chamadas de anãs brancas) no centro desta bela nebulosa, que adotaram a escultura como passatempo! Os jatos de cores vermelhas de material libertado de ambos os lados desta nebulosa estão a ser torcidos com formas curvilíneas em S pela dança entre as duas estrelas envelhecidas.

When a Sun-like star has burned up all its fuel, it begins to collapse inwards. The material in the star's core ends up squashed tightly down into a tiny, heavy ball. This ball is called a white dwarf star. The star also loses its outer shells of gas, which float off into space. The gas creates a planetary nebula — beautiful clouds around the white dwarfs, like the one shown in this new photo.

Kiedy starsi ludzie przechodzą na emeryturę często większość swego wolnego czasu poświęcają nowemu hobby, jak choćby rysowanie czy wędkarstwo. Astronomowie zauważyli ostatnio dwie gwiazdy-emerytki (zwane białymi karłami) znajdujące się we wnętrzu przepięknej mgławicy, które zajęły się… rzeźbiarstwem! Kształt czerwonych dżetów wystrzeliwanych z obu stron mgławicy przypomina literę S, z to wszystko przez taniec jaki wykonują znajdując się pomiędzy dwiema starymi gwiazdami.
