"Het DNA van van XPO Logistics is er een van hands-on, van heel direct-zijn, een open cultuur en met een hoog verwachtingspatroon. Er wordt medewerkers bij ons veel vrijheid geboden. Ook in de Business Unit Food/Retail, waar we met behulp van Maes & Lunau een BU-director hebben gevonden, moet je superkort op de bal zitten. Actief zijn is niet voldoende, zelfs niet pro-actief zijn. Want de marges zijn flinterdun en daarom moet je weten te anticiperen op de piekmomenten. Dat verlangt vooruit kijken, flexibel en analytisch zijn. Dani Bicker Caarten heeft ons uitstekend geholpen om de juiste man voor deze functie te vinden. Ze bracht begrip van het logistieke vak mee, ze luisterde heel goed en wist ons bij potentiële kandidaten ook zeer goed te vermarkten. Wat ik zeer aan haar waardeerde, dat is dat ik met haar kan sparren over de strategische fase waarin deze onderneming thans verkeert en welke type mensen dat verlangt.
