Bij de twee bladhelften ligt de weefselrichting anders gedraaid, waardoor je nu eens links, dan weer rechts dikkere of dunnere draden ziet. Naargelang de lichtinval veranderen ook de tinten: van groenig oker en goud naar bruin bijvoorbeeld, van lichter naar donkerder blauw, van bruin naar zwart.

GinkgoThe third design is called Leaf, and indeed, the pattern resembles the leaf of the ginkgo biloba, the Japanese nut tree. On the two halves of the leaves, the weave of the fabric is twisted differently, so that you see thicker and thinner threads, sometimes on the right and sometimes on the left. The different shades shift and change, depending on the light, from greenish ochre and gold to brown, from light blue to darker blue or from brown to black. The effect is endlessly fascinating.

GinkgoLe troisième dessin a été baptisé Leaf. Le motif rappelle effectivement la feuille du ginkgo biloba, l’arbre aux 40 écus. Pour les deux demi-feuilles, le sens des fibres du tissu est inversé et les fils apparaissent plus ou moins fins ou épais en alternance. Les tons changent également en fonction de la lumière: d’une nuance ocre verdâtre et dorée qui évolue vers le brun, par exemple, ou d’un ton bleu clair qui devient foncé, ou encore du brun vers le noir. L’effet est fascinant.
