Visueel is de BuzziZEPP een vederlichte module, met een complexe interne structuur die ontworpen is om geluiden te dempen. Door de extra dunne randen lijkt hij wel te zweven boven een tafel en door de losgekoppelde, hangende verlichtingsmodule doet hij wat denken aan een zeppelin.

The BuzziZEPP is a visually lightweight module with a complex internal structure designed to absorb sounds. Thanks to its extra slim lines, it appears as if floating above a table and with its disassociated hanging lighting modules, it is reminiscent of a zeppelin. The large opening at the centre of the BuzziZEPP is there for light to pass through between the ceiling and the table but also so that other lights or lighting modules can be used and passed through the structure of the BuzziZEPP.

Het was tevens de bedoeling om een visueel verband te leggen tussen het tafelblad en de poten om er op die manier één sterk grafisch element van te maken dat haast lijkt te zweven, of toch vanaf de voorkant gezien.

The idea was also to create a visual link between the table top and the legs in order to turn them into one strong graphic element that looks like it is resting almost on thin air.... at least from the front side. This link is created by matching the colors of the paint of the metal legs with the stained wooden colors of the wood. Because the wood is only stained and not painted the texture of the wood is still very present.

L’idée était également de créer un lien visuel entre le plan de table et les pieds afin d’en faire un élément graphique solide qui semble flotter dans les airs.... du moins vu de face. Ce lien est obtenu en adaptant la couleur des pieds métalliques aux couleurs du bois lasuré. Comme le bois est teinté et non peint, sa texture reste toujours présente.

Une base visuellement solide en céramique qui a l’air de flotter et qui de par sa forme disparait petit à petit une fois sous le dôme en verre. Quant au dôme en verre, par sa taille, sa générosité, il donne à la pièce sa vraie présence tout en étant transparent et donc très aérien, et quelque part il est donc moins présent…
