“What matters most, however, are not the final indicators and target values achieved under the project, but rather the actual benefits for citizens and the business sector that are in need of high-quality administrative services and constitute the end user of OPAC project output,” emphasized Mrs. Monika Dimitrova. She pointed out that the application procedures under Sub-Priority 2.2. “Competent and Efficient State Administration” have long proved successful, but it was no earlier than in 2012 that procedures targeted at controlling administrations like PFIA were open. According to Ms. Mimi Sokolova, Project Manager, increasing qualification and administrative capacity is important in terms of improving officials’ work efficiency and motivation, as well as keeping qualified and trained staff employed in state administration. “The key to the success of OPAC is partnership with our beneficiaries,” Mrs. Monika Dimitrova finally declared. She expressed her conviction that the second project implemented by the Agency will also prove successful due to the strong PFIA team and the support of the Managing Authority of OPAC.
