Radka Atanasova is head teacher at the Professional School of Architecture, Building and Geodesy "Architect Kamen Petkov", Plovdiv. She has graduated from the university of Sofia "St. Kliment Ohridski", with specialty in Bulgarian philology. She has been working as a Bulgarian language and literature teacher in PGASG “Arch. Kamen Petkov” for more than 20 years. She has a first professional degree. She also carry out practical training for students from the university of Plovdiv “Paisii Hilendarski”. She has developed an interest in knowing more about ICT (information and communications technologies) and its application in the educational process. She has been experimenting for a long time now and has succeeded in combining work with both traditional and interactive teaching methods and strategies. She use ICT in her studies and constantly enrich her skills while doing so. She has participated in many different qualifications, seminars, competitions and conferences. She is an author of numerous interactive lessons, realized in real classes, using a variety of educational software products and electronic platforms. Her philosophy about education is that it needs to be progressive, suitable to the expectations of adolescents. In 2015, she and her students put into practice an experimental lesson in “Bulgarian language and literature” inside a virtual classroom in an electronic platform for online education in a virtual world, in which students and teachers are represented with their own avatars.
