“Approximately 150 million euro are provided for introduction of the e-governance under Operational Programme “Good Governance” during the new programming period 2014-2020. This funding is to be negotiated with the European Commission for the purposes of financing activities like: completing the construction of the national e-health information system; delivery of administrative services online up to the level of transaction; review, optimization and electronization of regulatory regimes, and so on,” said Mrs. Monika Dimitrova-Beecher, Head of the Managing Authority of OPAC to representatives of state administration and the IT business at the 15th annual conference “ICT – Strategic Policy for Working E-Governance”. The Head of the Programme emphasized, however, that in order to receive European funding in the next programming period it is necessary that our country has a clear long-term vision for the development of this sector, as well as particular outcomes and successfully implemented projects within the current programming period.
