Children have been mostly diagnosed with astigmia, strabismus and amblyiopia. After the exam 326 children and 1500 elderly people from the communities were provided with necessary optical glasses.

Shen pense qu’il est important de s’occuper de l’éducation et du divertissement des enfants issus de familles pauvres. Depuis 1999, nous avons construit un centre de loisirs à Yeghnadjour, province de Chirak, dans le bâtiment de l’école que nous avons reconstruit pour ce but. Chaque année 150 enfants bénéficiaires de la ville de Gumri et d’autres villes de la région de Chirak apprécient l'air frais, la nourriture saine et le plaisir de travailler à la ferme.

On May 18, 2018 within IFAD funded "Promoting Inclusive Horticultural Value Chains in Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan and Moldova” project a theoretical seminar on "Organization of Effective Fight Against the Main Pests and Disease of Vines" was held for 21 members of the local cooperative in Berdavan community of Tavush province. Shen's expert presented to the participants a relevant information advisory material, which aroused great interest among the participants. The participants were provided with a small amount of two types of pesticides for vine pests and diseases produced by the Swiss Singenta company.

Currently EU and Austrian Development Agency are implementing a project, Organic Agriculture Support Initiative (OASI) in Armenia. This project arrays a comprehensive range of areas starting from legislative amendments on organic agriculture, promotion of organic extension services, developing curricula and a state-of-the-art textbook; providing both big and small-grants for farmers seeking to start, diversify or expand organic production. Tsirani Aygi LLC is among several organic producers, big grantees, supported by OASI. As a result of that project except of upgrade of the orchards of Tsirani Aygi LLC an organic horticulture cooperative has been established with the support of Tsirani Aygi LLC.

Integrated Community Development (ICD) of a vulnerable community or a group of communities is integration and systemized solution of social, economic, and environmental issues. Shen actively apply this methodology in many Armenian villages where overall development requires systemic approach to cover many fields of rural livelihoods.  Once certain components of rural infrastructures such as irrigation network, veterinarian service including artificial insemination, agriculatural machinery services, small-scale productions and the like are in place it builds solid basis for sustainable economic development of communities. Sustainability of all mentioned and several other infrastructures/services profoundly depends on permanent participation and involvement of community residents in decision making and implementation processes.

Le développement communautaire intégré (DCI) d’une communauté ou d’un groupe de communautés vulnérables est l’intégration et la solution systématisée des problèmes sociaux, économiques et environnementaux. Shen applique activement cette méthodologie dans plusieurs villages d’Arménie, où le développement général nécessite une approche systématisée afin d’assurer le bien-être de plusieurs aspects de la vie rurale. La mise en œuvre de certains infrastructures rurales, telles que les réseaux d’irrigation, le service vétérinaire, y compris l'insémination artificielle, les services des machines agricoles, la production à petite échelle, etc., créent des bases solides pour le développement économique durables des communautés. La durabilité de touts les infrastructures/services mentionnés et plusieurs autres dépend profondément de la participation permanente et de l’engagement des résidents de la commune dans le processus de prise de décision et de mise en œuvre  des projets.

Actuellement L’Union Européenne et l’Agence de Développement d’Autriche met en œuvre le projet Initiative de Soutien à l’Agriculture Biologique en Arménie (OASI). Ce projet comprend une série de composants tels que des changements législatifs concernant l’agriculture biologique, promotion des services de consultation en agriculture biologique, élaboration du programme de formation et d’un manuel moderne, de grandes et de petites subventions aux agriculteurs qui sont en recherche de financement pour commencer, diversification et expansion de la production biologique. SARL Tsirani Aygi fait partie de plusieurs producteurs biologiques et bénéficiaires de subventions, soutenus par OASI. A la suite de ce projet, à part du développement des vergers de Tsirani Aygi, une coopérative d’horticulture biologique sera créée et soutenue par l’ONG Shen et Tsirani Aygi.

Shen a commencé à mettre en œuvre des projets de réhabilitation des infrastructures sociales à partir des années 90s du 20-ème siècle. Le choix d'un projet social spécifique est basé sur la perspective de développement économique de la communauté. Le principe de base d'intervention de Shen est la contribution obligatoire de la communauté dans les projets de réhabilitation des infrastructures sociales. Les infrastructures sociales dans les communautés rurales d'Arménie comprennent généralement les centres communautaires, les écoles maternelles, les écoles secondaires, le réseau d'approvisionnement en eau potable, les services de collecte des ordures et d'autres infrastructures qui répondent aux besoins quotidiens de la population locale.
