Liana Grigoryan, a student of school #108, submitted her idea of having an improved school yard to the essay competition under the “Youth Taking Action and Making News” Project financed by the U.S. Embassy in Armenia. In her essay Liana highlighted the necessity of installing benches in her school yard so that parents, grandparents have a sitting place while waiting for their children and grandchildren. Liana’s idea was selected as a winner by the independent jury and got implemented by the financial support of the U.S. Embassy in Armenia.
