For example, the silymarin content of milk thistle is often standardized to 80 per cent. Would it suffice for the federal government to simply repeal its investment rules, or for Ontario to declare that it is no longer bound by them? I think not. Ontario's "prudent person" rule, as it stands, is very vague. More explicit guidance is needed: the meaning of "prudence" should not be left so broad that it has no normative power, nor should it have to be determined after the fact in expensive litigation. On the contrary, clear rules ought to lay down at least the main principles governing investment decisions. 2.10. At present, investors have a low awareness of trailing commissions and a low understanding of how trailing commissions influence recommendations made. Consumers have very little understanding about how the advisor they trust to provide them with advice in their interest gets paid. FAIR Canada believes that it is crucial that the nature of such embedded costs is clearly explained to investors, in language they understand, when the amount of trailing commissions is disclosed to them in the fee/charge reporting.

The duty-free representative asked that it be replaced with "information be made available to each person." The same duty-free representative addressed the vagueness of the term "adequate." Several NGO representatives also asked that this term be removed or be replaced by "completely" and one cited that consensus research shows there is no safe level of exposure to second-hand smoke. Another asked for a clear definition of the term "smoke." The term "addictive" is preferable to "dependance" and should be used throughout the text, as it is here, according to an Aboriginal representative.

The task of devising is to try to locate the shapes of what it is you think you’re looking for while often being largely in the dark as to exactly what that is. At the very beginning of work on The Festival, we have only the barest of hunches as to what we are after. We know that we will continue to explore narrative forms and structures in a simple traverse staging, a presentational and relational performance space of proximity, encounter and exchange. Beyond that, we have little more than a broad sense of wanting to generate a narrative set in the present, in counterpoint to the “pasts” of Alice and Daniel. In addition, we want to modulate the notion of “catastrophe”, and explore something much smaller on the sliding scale of catastrophic possibilities. Something more everyday, domestic, familial, something more intimate than cataclysmic. Perhaps just the sense of something missing, or someone missing out on something or someone: like the quiet pulse of a “hungry heart”. Gregg talks of the ambiguity of “tragic fun”, and of “songs of everyday life and how the silent catastrophe of love seeps into each hour…”

Je dois constamment répéter les mêmes informations: «C'est un spectre»; «Un TED c'est la même chose qu'un TSA, un trouble du spectre autistique»; «Les problèmes de sommeil et de nutrition sont liés au trouble de l'autisme»; «Non, je ne crois pas que mon enfant soit autiste, car je l'ai vacciné, quelque chose était différent depuis sa naissance»...

I recently noticed that for the most part, when I talk about Autism the people around me don't really know what I am talking about. They all seem to have a vague idea about the problem, but no more. I constantly have to repeat the same information: "It's a spectrum," "a PDD is the same this as an ASD, an Autism Spectrum Disorder," "Sleeping problems and food selectivity are linked to Autism disorders," "No, I don't believe my child is autistic due to vaccines, something was different since birth"... The list of questions is usually the same and it is a long one. I even heard someone say "Autism is in right now!"
