O svom iskustvu u svetiŠtu Kraljice mira kaže: "Ovo je mjesto razmiŠljanja, molitve. Svi koji ovamo dou ostvaruju meusobno zajedniŠtvo. Vidio sam ljude iz Europe, Amerike, Japana, Australije. Svi se osjeŠaju jedno. To je za mene bio snažan dojam. Ovdje se zaista moli. Ja nisam mogao iŠi na brda, ali me se vrlo dojmilo kad mi jejedna hodoČasnica donijela kamen sa brda. Klanjanje je poseban doživljaj. To je neŠto jedinstveno. Vidio sam ljude kako poste. U kuŠi gdje sam stanovao hodoČasnici nisu niŠta jeli za veČeru osim malo salate i kruha. To je duh pokore, žrtve, mrtvljenja, koji odavno nisam vidio. Ovo iskustvo Še mi dati snage govoriti ljudima o Gospi. Sada mi se Čini da joj nisam posveŠivao dovoljno pozornosti. Ona nam je blizu. To je glavna poruka ovoga mjesta."

I would ask that when you go to your homes you find still many more students who want to learn in this school of Our Lady. When I go back home I know that many Christians, many priests will come to me. They will ask me what good I have to tell and offer them? I will tell them that here they can get two good things. They can choose one or the other or choose both. Do you know which two things I'm thinking of? The first and main thing is prayer. The second is the friendliness of the Croatian people, their hospitality. I think that I will take both, prayer and hospitality. Perhaps someone came here just for prayer or just for hospitality, for enjoyment. Dear pilgrims, I would ask you to take both of these things, and not just one.

Oserais-je vous dire que j'ai obtenu mon diplôme avant vous Le voyant Ivan, l'autre soir m'en a donné la confirmation. Il m'a dit que la Vierge était très heureuse que nous, évêques, soyons ici. Elle nous a béni ainsi que nos diocèses, disant qu'il y a un grand espoir pour nos diocèses. Je définis tout cela comme un diplôme ou un certificat que la Sainte Vierge m'a donné. Quelqu'un parmi vous a-t-il déjà reçu un tel certificat ? C'est la première fois que je viens à Medjugorje. Je dois me féliciter pour avoir été un bon élève, vu que j'ai déjà obtenu mon diplôme. Vous les Croates et vous chers pèlerins, avez-vous obtenu un tel diplôme ? Si non vous devriez travailler un peu plus !

Ihr Wallfahrer, die ihr von weither kamt und die ihr hierherkamt, um schwer zu arbeiten, um zu lernen, habt ihr irgendeine Bestätigung über eure Schulung erhalten? Bemüht euch wenigstens darum, eine Bestätigung darüber zu bekommen, daß ihr überhaupt in dieser Schule wart. Diese Bestätigung erhält jeder, der hierher zum Gebet kommt, der auf die Berge steigt, der den Botschaften der Muttergottes folgt. Falls ihr das nicht getan habt, seid aber hierhergekommen, so fürchte ich, daß ihr keine Bestätigung darüber erhalten werdet, daß ihr Schüler dieser Schule wart. Seid ihr euch sicher, daß ihr nach Hause zurückkehren wollt ohne diese Bestätigung? Ich glaube, es wäre sehr schade, wenn ihr diese Bestätigung nicht erhalten würdet.
