GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) klinkt wellicht wat saai maar is toch één van de belangrijkste en meest gecompliceerde certificeringen binnen onze branche! Zonder GMP certificering is de productie van vrij verkrijgbare medicijnen voor aquarium- en vijvervissen bijvoorbeeld niet mogelijk en voorgeschreven medicijnen zouden uitsluitend via de dierenarts verkrijgbaar zijn.

Without GMP certification the manufacturing of over-the-counter medications for aquarium and pond fish would be impossible and prescription medications would only be available from vets. But since only a few vets are specialised in fish this would lead to therapy bottlenecks!

Le sigle GMP n’a l’air de rien et pourtant, c'est l'une des certifications les plus importantes et les plus compliquées de notre branche ! Sans la certification GMP, la fabrication de médicaments en vente libre pour les poissons d’aquariums et de bassins ne serait pas possible et les médicaments, soumis à prescription médicale, seraient uniquement accessibles par l’intermédiaire des vétérinaires. Mais le nombre de vétérinaires spécialisés dans les poissons étant très réduit, on assisterait à un grand état d'urgence thérapeutique !

GMP klingt langweilig, und doch ist es eine der wichtigsten und kompliziertesten Zertifizierungen für unsere Branche! Ohne die GMP Zertifizierung wäre die Herstellung frei verkäuflicher Medikamente für Aquarien- und Teichfische nicht möglich und verschreibungspflichtige Arzneimittel wären ausschließlich über Tierärzte erhältlich. Da sich aber nur wenige Tierärzte auf Fische spezialisiert haben, würde ein Therapie-Notstand eintreten!

L'acronimo NBF dice poco, ma è nel nostro ramo una delle certificazioni più importanti e complicate. Senza la certificazione NBF la fabbricazione di medicinali da banco per i pesci d'acquario e di laghetto non sarebbe possibile. Non solo, ma i medicinali da vendersi su presentazione di ricetta medica si riceverebbero esclusivamente dai veterinari. Dato però che i veterinari specializzati sui pesci sono pochi, si verificherebbe uno stato di emergenza.
