Cílem příspěvku je na základě deskripce historického vývoje, obsahové a kauzální analýzy současného stavu uměleckého vzdělávaní v ČR a syntézy takto získaných poznatků vymezit jeho specifika a navrhnout další směr výzkumu v dané oblasti, a to zejména ve vztahu k vzdělávací politice a reformě financování regionálního školství ČR. Hlavním zjištěním příspěvku je, že komplexní systém uměleckého vzdělávání v ČR je svou strukturou, provázaností či způsobem financování unikátní a současně vykazuje prvky hybridity, čímž otevírá nové problémové otázky vyžadující systémové řešení. Kromě teoretických a praktických přínosů plynoucích z naplnění vytyčeného cíle nabízíme náměty a prostor pro diskusi v oblastech, které přesahují meze řešené problematiky v rámci předkládaného příspěvku.
