CCRS has developed Long Term Satellite Data Records (LTSDR) for a series of optical sensors. These highly-processed records include AVHRR, SPOT-Vegetation, MODIS and MERIS. For the first three, records span over 25, 12 and 10 years, respectively. The MERIS record currently spans 3 years. The processing methodologies and software used to produce these LTSDR were developed by CCRS. Additional details on the LTSDR and processing methodologies will be added to this website shortly. Based in Switzerland. Grazia has been working on governance for the conservation of nature and community rights and responsibilities for nearly thirty years, often in close collaboration with the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) for which she developed the Social Policy Programme in the early 1990s. She was Vice Chair of the CEESP and WCPA Commission for twelve and eight years, respectively. Besides her roles in the ICCA Consortium, she is President of the Paul K. Feyerabend Foundation and a member of advisory bodies dealing with natural resources in various countries. Grazia’s years of research in solar physics (University of Florence and Stanford University, 1977-1983) and of teaching in public health (University of California at Berkeley, National Institute of Health of Italy, 1985-1992) helped her to develop a keen interest in interdisciplinary initiatives. She has worked in over sixty countries, authored or edited twenty-five volumes of “collective thinking” and organised many international gatherings that fostered progressive steps in the policy and practice of conservation of nature—including the Streams on Governance at the World Parks Congress in Durban (2003) and the World Parks Congress in Sydney (2014). In 2014, she received the Fred Packard International Parks Merit Award.

Grazia ha trabajado a favor de la gobernanza para la conservación de la naturaleza y los derechos y responsabilidades comunitarios por cerca de treinta años, en colaboración frecuente con la Unión Internacional para la Conservación de la Naturaleza (UICN), para la que desarrolló el Programa de Política Social a comienzos de los años 1990 y fue Vicepresidente de la Comisión en Políticas Ambientales, Económicas y Sociales y la Comisión Mundial de Áreas Protegidas durante doce y ocho años, respectivamente. Además de sus funciones en el Consorcio TICCA, es presidente de la Paul K. Feyerabend Foundation y miembro de organismos consultores sobre recursos naturales en varios países. Los años que Grazia dedicó a la investigación en física solar (Universidad de Florencia y Universidad de Stanford, 1977-1983) y a la enseñanza en salud pública (Universidad de California en Berkley, Instituto Nacional de Salud de Italia, 1985-1992) le ayudaron a desarrollar un entusiasta interés por las iniciativas interdisciplinarias. Ha trabajado en cerca de 60 países, es autora y editora de veinticinco volúmenes de «pensamiento colectivo», y ha organizado muchos encuentros internacionales que han alimentado avances progresivos en las políticas y la práctica de la conservación de la naturaleza —incluyendo las corrientes de Gobernanza en el Congreso Mundial de Parques en Durban (2003) y en el Congreso Mundial de Parques en Sídney (2014). En 2014 recibió el Premio al Mérito Fred Packard International Parks.
