The whole area with a network of well-maintained forest paths and resting areas serves as a place of relaxation for patients and visitors coming to Františkovy Lázně. The pond has a beach and boat rental and a romantic restaurant for excursionists was built on its shore in the style of framed houses typical for Cheb in 1898.

Am Fischteich gibt es einen Strand und einen Bootsverleih, an seinem Ufer wurde im Jahre 1898 eine romantische Ausflugsgaststätte im Stil Egerländer Fachwerkhäuser errichtet, auch der kleine Tiergarten trägt sein Scherflein zur Ausflugsstimmung bei.

Presso lo stagno c’è una spiaggia con possibilità di noleggiare barche. Sulla riva, nel 1898, è stato costruito un ristorante romantico nello stesso stile tipico delle strutture in legno e muratura di Cheb; il piccolo giardino zoologico contribuisce a creare un’atmosfera da villeggiatura.
