Es entsteht eine semantische Trennung zwischen dem architektonischen Rahmenwerk dieser von Marc Auge so genannten Nicht-Orte im Vordergrund und den sich im Hintergrund ausbreitenden Stadtagglomerationen. Irgendeine Lounge am Pariser Flughafen öffnet den Blick auf Mexico City, das sich langsam in New York City verwandelt. Die Lounge im Vordergrund ändert sich in ein Treppenhaus in Wien, während im Hintergrund New York zu San Francisco gemorpht wird. Diese suturierten Bildkombinationen erzeugen universelle Städte, die zu einem modernistischem Muster verflachen während gleichzeitig klar wird, wie diese imaginierte Stadt mittels architektonischem Rahmen und dem Blickregime urbanistischer Fotografie generiert wird. Zeitpunkt und Standort der Aufnahmen werden zu Instrumenten beim "Machen" dieser Städte. Fluktuierend zwischen allgemeiner Stadt und spezifischem Blickpunkt benützt Framing Location II den urbanen Blick, um einen global-urbanen Nexus herzustellen.

Diese suturierten Bildkombinationen erzeugen universelle Städte, die zu einem modernistischem Muster verflachen während gleichzeitig klar wird, wie diese imaginierte Stadt mittels architektonischem Rahmen und dem Blickregime urbanistischer Fotografie generiert wird. Zeitpunkt und Standort der Aufnahmen werden zu Instrumenten beim "Machen" dieser Städte. Fluktuierend zwischen allgemeiner Stadt und spezifischem Blickpunkt benützt Framing Location II den urbanen Blick, um einen global-urbanen Nexus herzustellen.

“Bertin told her he had received training recently and had the materials needed for delivery. He asked Milove how many times she had visited the GDN health clinic for prenatal checkups. Bertin explained the importance of continuing to take the medicines that the nurse had prescribed, and the importance of a healthy diet. Ten days later, Milove’s husband came to get Bertin.  She was in labour.  He took his TBA kit and went off to her home.  Within 45 minutes of his arrival, Milove delivered a big baby boy.  He cut the cord; the placenta was delivered. Milove tore upon delivery. She rested until morning and the TBA stayed with her and her husband.  In the morning, Bertin encouraged Milove and her husband to go to the clinic. They brought the baby along. At the clinic, the nurse checked out Milove and sutured the tear. She also examined the newborn baby. The nurse complimented Bertin for bringing Milove and her family into the clinic for their first postnatal visit.”

Il a demandé à Milove combien de fois elle avait visité la clinique de santé GDN pour des examens prénatals. Bertin a expliqué l’importance de continuer à prendre les médicaments que l’infirmière avait prescrits et l’importance d’une alimentation saine. Dix jours plus tard, le mari de Milove est venu chercher Bertin. Elle était en travail. Il a pris sa trousse et est parti pour chez eux. Juste 45 minutes après son arrivée, Milove a livré un gros garçon. Il a coupé le cordon ; le placenta a été livré. Milove s’est déchiré lors de l’accouchement. Elle a reposé jusqu’au matin et Bertin est resté avec la famille. Dans la matinée, Bertin les a encouragés d’aller à la clinique. Ils ont amené le bébé. À la clinique, l’infirmière a vérifié Milove et a suturé la déchirure. Elle a également examiné le nouveau-né. L’infirmière a félicité Bertin pour amener Milove et sa famille à la clinique pour leur première visite post-natale. »
