In diesem Rahmen organisierten die HR-Verantwortlichen 2011 für alle HR-Mitarbeitenden der SRG ein zweitägiges Forum: 111 Personen – das sind rund zwei Drittel aller HR-Mitarbeitenden – trafen sich im Mai auf dem Berner Hausberg Gurten. Der HR-Leiter, Thomas Waldmeier, orientierte die Teilnehmenden über die Zielsetzungen und den Stand der Umsetzung des neuen HRM-Geschäftsmodells. Ergänzend konnten sich die Teilnehmenden an einem Informationsmarkt über die laufenden HR-Projekte informieren und in Erfahrung bringen, wie die regionalen HR-Bereiche der SRG organisiert sind. In Gruppen befassten sich die Teilnehmenden mit aktuellen HR-Themen und erarbeiteten zahlreiche Vorschläge und Ideen für weitere Projekte. Zwecks Erweiterung der Perspektive wurde zudem eine Aussensicht gezeigt: Markus Jordi, der HR-Leiter der SBB, erläuterte in einem Inputreferat, welche Herausforderungen das Unternehmen bei einem ähnlich grossen HR-Umbau zu meistern hatte.

Un téléspectateur s’est plaint du fait que de telles expressions ne convenaient pas à une émission diffusée à 19 h 30 pour être regardée en famille, notamment avec de jeunes enfants. Puisque l’émission n’est pas diffusée en direct, il a fait remarquer que ces écarts de langage auraient facilement pu en être retranchés.

is a singing competition program featuring “coaches” from the Quebec music industry who choose singers to form their “teams”. The singers are chosen based on their voices alone; the coaches do not see the contestants before selecting them.  On the January 15 episode, there were three instances of coarse language.  The coaches used the words “tabarnac’” and “ʼostie” when commenting on the singers’ performances.  A viewer complained that this language was not appropriate during a program at 7:30 pm which is watched by families with young children.  He emphasized that the program was not live, so the coarse language could easily have been edited out prior to broadcast.

Manfred Kueng gab ein Resumé über den Verlauf des Vereinsjahres. Er stellte fest, dass die Vereinigung nach wie vor 587 Mitglieder zählt und das Ziel von 600 Mitgliedern bald einmal erreicht sein sollte, wenn sich die Mitglieder noch etwas aktiver an der Werbung beteiligten. Er erwähnte wiederum speziell die Förderung der Junioren (ein Hauptzweck der Vereinigung), die 2009 erneut mit über 9‘000 Franken unterstützt werden konnten. Um die Motivation des Nachwuchses weiter zu fördern, wurde, zusätzlich zu den traditionellen Förderungspreisen von 1500, 1250 und 1000 Franken, der letztes Jahr neu geschaffene Aufmunterungspreis von 500 Franken erstmals vergeben. Die statutarischen Geschäfte konnten, trotz Zweisprachigkeit, in gewohnt zügigem Rahmen behandelt werden. Die Orientierung über die im Entstehen begriffene „Chronik des Segelfluges in der Schweiz“ durch den Präsidenten und Initianten fand grosses Interesse. Die ganze Segelfliegergemeinde der Schweiz wird um Unterstützung in Form von Bild-Dokumenten oder Anekdoten gebeten. Vor allem Sponsoren zur Finanzierung der Herausgabe werden dringend gesucht. This concert has been arranged in order to make people aware of the WFP's activities in Armenia. In 2011, the organisation distributed more than 20 million school meals in some 70 countries. In Armenia, 50,000 primary school pupils in the most disadvantaged areas were able to benefit. Beyond its public health role, this initiative is aimed at encouraging poor families or families in difficulty to send their children to school. The WFP is also working to establish a sustainable school feeding programme integrated with national policy and the State budget.

The species of Pteranodon that we chose to "reconstruct" is well known from relatively complete skeletons. Males of Pteranodon longiceps were larger than the females, with a maximum wingspan of about 7 m (23 ft), longer crests on their heads, and a total skull length of about 1.8 m (6 ft). Their long, toothless beaks were used for fishing. Our sculptures are the maximum size attained by this species.
